Our rules are designed with the intention of ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone on the server. While we strive to provide clarity, please understand that certain situations may require interpretation, and decisions may be made at the discretion of the server admins to maintain that same fair and enjoyable experience.

Welcome to our SCUM server, where we've carefully curated an experience blending PvE, RP, and a touch of PvP for a diverse gaming environment. Since our establishment on November 26, 2020, our focus has been on fostering a multifaceted community that embraces exploration, camaraderie, roleplay, and even a PvP zone for those inclined.

Our server provides a haven for players seeking a departure from the intense PvP scene, offering extensive PvE challenges and rich RP opportunities. We cherish a collaborative environment where storytelling and cooperative gameplay flourish.

While our emphasis lies in PvE and RP adventures, we've reserved a small PvP zone to cater to enthusiasts seeking that competitive edge. We ensure a fair and balanced experience, providing diverse choices to suit various playstyles within our community.

Dedicated to constant improvement, we regularly refine our server, integrating new features and enhancements to enrich all aspects of gameplay, through our own in house dev team.

Behavior Rules

• Be respectful to other players. No racism, homophobia, sexism, ageism, or excessive toxicity.
• Harassment, doxxing, witch hunting, abuse, slander, hate speech, slurs, discriminatory speech, or any behavior aimed at denying others a positive experience will not be tolerated.
• Excessive trolling will not be tolerated.
• Political names, statements, and agendas are not allowed.
• Actions taken to expressly deny other players the ability to enjoy the community or gameplay are not allowed (including bullying, stream sniping, and insiding).
• Any player caught harassing or bullying another player on the server or outside of the server, but in relation to their presence on the server will be removed or dealt with accordingly.
• Please be mindful that everyone is allowed to focus on aspects of gameplay they enjoy. Your ideas or interests may not coincide, but please be respectful.
• Respect the roleplay and respect those who are not currently looking for an interaction.
• Excessive toxicity towards players and/or staff will not be tolerated and will result in a mute, kick, or ban determined by staff without warning. Discord tickets should be used to communicate behavioral issues. Keep us informed. Behavioral issues will be discussed with all parties involved. Behavior that continues to drive people (players or staff) from the community will result in a mute, kick, or ban from the server and/or discord as determined by the staff team.
• Please trust that the staff team serves as a valuable resource and mediator with the community's best interests in mind whenever behavioral issues arise. Kindly refrain from directing frustrations at staff members who are genuinely striving to encourage compromise and provide assistance.
• It's Highly advised to record gameplay for not only your protection during interactions/bugs but others aswell.
• No Impersonation of another player or staff.
• DO NOT DIRECTLY MESSAGE THE ADMINS!
• Open a ticket using command !ticket or use #❗┃admin-help

PvE/PvP

• This is a PvE/PvP server. PvE means Player vs Environment. The only sectors PvP is allowed is B0, A0, Z0, Z1 (RED ZONES)
• No killing other players in PvE zones. This can only happen in the PvP zone.
• No killing on sight (KOS) in RP/PVE (PVP areas are exempt), random death match (RDM), or griefing
• If you have a disagreement with another player, please try to roleplay to a solution or respectfully come to a resolution before resorting to a ticket.
• Violating these rules will result in immediate jail time. The bots are always watching.

Lockpicking

• PvE
• No lockpicking peoples bases, chests, cars, or doors in the PvE zones
• PvP
• Lockpicking is allowed in PvP zones
• You may not take locked items from PvE to PvP

POIs

• No blocking off access to Points of Interest (POI). Anyone found in violation will be given a short notice before base elements and items are destroyed. This includes but is not limited to:
• Roads and Railroad tracks/tunnels
• Gas Stations
• Gun Stores
• Workshops with drill presses/lathes
• Bunkers, Abandoned Bunkers, and WWII Bunkers
• High loot areas
• You cannot build on, or overhang, any road surfaces. Theses elements will be destroyed without warning.

Flags

• Only one flag/base per sector, per squad, with a max total of 4 flags on the map (this is to keep lag down)
• Please don't go crazy, especially when building in a city or the big city
• Don't take more than you need please! Excessive bases will be warned and potentially removed after notice.
• You can not takeover/claim/capture another persons flag in the PvE zone.

Explosives, Mines, and Traps

• Mines are only allowed within base walls.
• MINES & TRAPS can ONLY be placed inside of your flag zone, behind walls and doors. Failure to follow rules will result in the bot teleporting you back to your mine.

Vehicles

• You are not allowed to lockpick, damage, shoot off doors, pop tires, or cause any damage what-so-ever to any vehicles located in the PvE zones or warzones.
• Any form of destruction to vehicles is only allowed in PvP. Violators will be swiftly prosecuted.
• Squad Vehicle Limits:
• (A vehicle is defined as a Rager, Laika, or WolfsWagen)

• Dirtbikes/RIS is 1 per person (One Dirtbike or RIS, not one of each), up to a max of 6 per squad.
• Wheelbarrows Only 1 per squad.
• Vehicles locked in a spawn location:
• New players (on foot or bicycle) may lock a single vehicle in it's spawn location for as long as it takes for them to gather the parts to repair it.
• Players attempting to acquire vehicles for their squad, or players recovering vehicles to sell, may lock a single vehicle in it's spawn location for a max of 48 hours.
• Players may not lock multiple vehicles in their spawn locations
• A player may posses up to 2 extra vehicles (above their squad limit) for 48 hours MAX, for the purpose of resale
• Only one plane per squad!

Garages

• Garages are not allowed to be locked up.

Roleplay

Read the Roleplay Guidelines here.
• Know your audience. RP, chat, actions, etc. should not make others uncomfortable. If someone is saying or doing something that makes you uncomfortable, please ask them to stop or ask them to avoid that type of interaction with you and let an admin know.
• Respect peoples choices to engage in RP. If someone chooses not to engage in RP, or your RP style, that must be respected.
• If you are being harassed, please report the person to an admin.
• No roleplaying (RP) as a killer, thief, bounty hunter, etc. and no using RP or creating temporary PVP zones as a cover or excuse for killing people.
• If you are asked to leave someone’s property, please respect their request without hard feelings. Someone may ask you to leave if they are not currently looking to RP.
• While engaging in RP you should record your gameplay, using software like Medal.tv or SteelSeries Moments. This is useful in the event an issue arises, as evidence will help admins properly assess the situation.

In-game events

• Because the in-game events open a loophole for killing players, you must get clearance from an admin.
• The reason for this being that a player in the town of the event can get killed by event players, and this isn't fair.
• SO YOU MUST ask before starting an in-game event.

Looting Bodies, Chests, and Bases

• Bodies:
• Allowed in active warzones and PvP, prohibited in PvE
• Chests & Vehicles:
• Allowed in PvP only, Prohibited in PvE and warzones
• Bases:
• Allowed in PvP only, prohibited in PvE and warzones

War Zones / Pink Circles

• The pink zones are potential PvP zones. Only one zone is actively PvP at a time. This is known as the war zone.
• This zone changes every 2 hours. You can see which zone is currently the PvP zone in #⚔┃war-zone.
• Locking doors in a warzone is not allowed, doors found to be locked will be unlocked without notice.

Zone Borders & Battle Logging

• Using the PvP/PvE border to your advantage to evade killing, is an exploit and not allowed.
• This includes the Red PvP zone and the pink Warzones! For example, standing near the border in PvP and running to the PvE zone once PvP has been engaged
• Additionally, no bases can be built within 100 meters on either side of the PvP/PvE border as marked by the red/white PvP/PvE Deadzones on the map.
• Intentionally firing at, or near, players from outside PVP zone is strictly forbidden, and if proven will result in jail time.
• Players using this behavior to bait a player into breaking the rules will be warned, jailed and any repeat infraction of this rule will result in a server ban.

Admin and Moderator Rules

Admins and Moderators are responsible for ensuring the server is running smoothly and that players are following server rules.

Please do not hesitate to contact a staff member regarding any concerns or assistance. This can be done in game, or in the support channel on discord. For the fastest help, please open a ticket.

A Moderator is a staff member who is knowledgable on the server and has been given permissions within the discord to help players. They do not have in-game admin abilities. An Admin is a staff member who has in-game admin abilities and can help players with any situation. Most admins are former moderators or have lots of experience already as a SCUM admin. If a moderator is unable to solve your issue they will call upon an admin.

General

• Players can reach out to staff by creating a discord ticket or reaching out to us in game. For requests which do not require immediate attention, please feel free to post in our staff support channel on discord. Staff response is only guaranteed via discord ticket. Allow up to 24 hours for pending tickets.
• Please respect that, as a principal, we try to inform players, give them the chance to correct their actions and have a discussion with all parties involved before taking action. Give people the chance to learn and move forward without conflict.
• Please note, we will always prioritize issues pertaining to our behavior rules before attending to other matters.
• Not all information is made public, but trust that we are doing our due diligence to address concerns.
• Issues that come up as a result of loopholes or lack of clarification in the rules will be addressed and decided by the RRP team and adjusted accordingly.
• Interpretation and final verdict are at admin discretion. Everything is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and the rules stated here are to cover the basics

Conduct

• Complaints about Rebellion Staff may be emailed to x8soar8x@rebellionrp.com and will be addressed with the staff member and team accordingly.
• Admins/Mods may act as mediators between players and teams but will not enforce the terms of any agreements that fall outside of the rules. Such agreements do not allow any violation of the rules.
• In certain situations, such as internal squad disputes, staff members may attempt to facilitate conversation and compromise between players, but the terms should come from the players.
• Toxicity and disrespect toward staff will not be tolerated including refusal to comply in regards to server matters. Constructive criticism is welcomed.

Admin Spawning, Teleporting, and PvP

• Admins are not allowed to spawn items, or godmode blueprints for players.
• If you have made progress with an RP building and you are in need of something you cannot normally get by crafting or looting, you may reach out to an admin for assistance.
• Items spawned in for admin sponsored events should not be taken, unless told otherwise by an admin. Items taken will be recovered and despawned accordingly.
• Admins are not allowed to teleport players without reason.
• Admins may teleport you to an event, but a teleport back is not guaranteed.
• Admins are not allowed to PvP, unless on the Cheat/Hack Prevention Team. This does not apply to moderators as they do not have in game powers
